The Fairmont Washington, D.C. “Dream Green” sleep package is aimed at guests with an interest for the environment.

The hotel’s colleagues have created an Environmental Committee, developing a number of programs incorporating the environmental mantra, reduce, reuse and recycle, into the hotel’s daily operating practices. Beginning in March of 2007, Pepco Energy Services began supplying the Fairmont Washington, D.C. with over three million kilowatt hours (kWh) of electricity generated from renewable resources, as ten percent of the energy come from wind farms located in the Mid-Atlantic region.
